Bloom 3D is a free and open-source web-app that makes designing in 3D delightfully easy! This web-based software lets users draw, extrude and color 3D shapes on a computer, tablet, or smartphone. This simple tool could be a great activity for 3D printing, asset creation, game development and more. While not a fully functional tool, it would be a great introduction to topics like extrusion, faces, lines, and vertices.

Bloom 3D can be a great tool used in a Game Development classroom for greyboxing and blocking out levels. Students can quickly model levels and test those designs in a game engine like Unreal or Unity.
